Summer essentials: come sfuggire al caldo

Fa caldo e tanto. In questo post volevo parlarvi di alcuni "trucchi" che ho sperimentato per cercare di rendere la mia vita leggermente meno in balia del caldo. Alcuni abbastanza semplici altri "rubati" a differenti mondi.

TAPPETINI REFRIGERANTI - Si esattamente i tappetini refrigeranti che usiamo per cani e gatti. Io proprio quest'anno non potendo rubare quello in uso al mio Romoletto ne ho comprato uno sul quale poter poggiare i polpacci durante la notte. La temperatura costante di qualche grado inferiore a quella circostante mi consente di non soffrire per le gambe pesanti e rinfrescarmi quel tanto che basta per poter dormire più serenamente.

MINI VENTILATORE ELETTRICO - Piccolo e comodo il ventilatore elettrico rende tecnologico il tradizionale ventaglio al quale ci si rivolge d'estate quando non abbiamo l'elettricità a nostra disposizione. Molti hanno anche un power bank incluso per poter ricaricare il proprio cellulare. Li trovo ideali per le cerimonie estive (un incubo ammettiamolo) dove ci troviamo spesso a sventolarci con libretti della cerimonia o menù.

ADESIVI RINFRESCANTI - In Giappone gli adesivi rinfrescanti li utilizzano per la febbre al posto dei nostri "fazzoletti bagnati". Sono degli adesivi da applicare sulla pelle per abbassare la temperatura. Perchè quindi non usarli per rinfrescarsi nelle giornate maggiormente afose? In previsione di alcune cerimonie io li ho acquistati pensando di applicarli dove il mio abito è maggiormente spesso e quindi più caldo.

Summer essentials: how to escape the heat

It's hot and a lot. In this post I wanted to tell you about some "tricks" I have experimented with to try to make my life slightly less at the mercy of the heat. Some quite simple, others "stolen" from different worlds.

COOLING MATS - Yes, exactly the cooling mats we use for dogs and cats. Just this year, not being able to steal the one in use from my Romoletto, I bought one on which to rest the calves during the night. The constant temperature a few degrees lower than the surrounding one allows me not to suffer from heavy legs and cool down just enough to be able to sleep more peacefully.

Where to buy them? Amazon on all where it is possible to find them of different sizes, but they are also on sale in household goods stores.

MINI ELECTRIC FAN - Small and comfortable, the electric fan makes the traditional fan technological, which we turn to in the summer when we do not have electricity at our disposal. Many also have a power bank included in order to recharge their mobile. I find them ideal for summer ceremonies (a nightmare let's face it) where we often find ourselves waving with ceremony booklets or menus.

REFRESHING STICKERS - In Japan, cooling stickers use them for fever instead of our "wet handkerchiefs". They are adhesives to be applied on the skin to lower the temperature. So why not use them to cool off on the hottest days? In anticipation of some ceremonies, I bought them thinking of applying them where my dress is thicker and therefore warmer.
